To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Godzilla in 2024, CITIZEN PROMASTER is launching a limited edition of the collaboration model Professional Diver 300 m Godzilla, equipped with a light-powered Eco-Drive*1. The world-famous Japanese monster Godzilla will be 70 years old in 2024. To celebrate, CITIZEN is launching a new limited edition Godzilla collaboration model.
This new watch is based on the Professional Diver 300m, a popular, long-selling diver’s watch from the PROMASTER line. This robust diver’s watch is water resistant up to 300 metres and has an iconic, robust design. This robust exterior has earned the watch the nickname “Ecozilla” among fans, a combination of Eco-Drive and Godzilla.
The dial, case and bezel feature a camouflage pattern inspired by Godzilla’s scaly skin and hidden within this pattern are tiny Godzillas. The strap is made of environmentally friendly polyurethane, which contains materials derived from biomass. There are two dial variants – a black dial with the classic black and white image of Godzilla and a dark red dial with the fierce Godzilla. The case back design features Godzilla’s footprint, a unique feature of this limited-edition model.
